Can you believe its only 9 days until Christmas! And in no time it will be January and the MOPS year will be half over. We've had a great year so far with topics from finance- to decorating, crafts, Ladies Night Outs, and Playdates with more to come!
Next meeting Jan 7th is our Snow Day!! come in your jammies or comfy sweats and be ready to have fun. We'll be sipping hot chocolate, playing games and hanging out.
Also coming up- New Bible Study- starting Jan 14th and will meet the off Wednesdays of MOPS. Childcare will be provided. Contact Jan Behren for more info

Oct 15th Meeting
Hello everyone!
Wednesday is MOPS! With the campaign for the presidency really heating up- we thought... without getting biased on any sides, or getting in any debates... we are going to be exploring what each candidate is for and against. We are pretty excited to find out all the facts!
We will also be doing another great craft.
Reminders... If you haven't had your photo taken for the directory we will definitely be
taking it Wednesday.
The trip to the orchard will be on the 29th. - Please contact Breanne Mitchell
for any questions.

Hello everyone! Its Friday!! I hope your week was a great adventure with more ups then downs. But... if there were lots of downs - hopefully you threw your arms in the air and screamed at the top of your lungs the whole way down. Besides the looking like a crazy person part, I'd say that's an excellent way to let off some stress.
On behalf of all the steering team, we hope that anyone
effected by the recent floods are doing ok and safe!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all!
Just a couple quick updates-
The outing to the orchard has been changed to Oct. 8th
(our previous date had a couple schools that were 1/2 days).
In case of rain, Oct. 29th will be the back up day.
Hope to see you there!
To start getting us in that fall apple picking frame of mind...
At our Oct.1st meeting we will be assembling Apple Crisps!
You will take yours home to bake and enjoy!
Ohh, desert for that night - score!!

Welcome back everyone!!
What a great first meeting we had! Popcorn, corndogs, goldfish, and bouncy houses at 9 in the morning is a great way to start your day! It was fun finding out all the different things about the MOPS moms in human bingo. And with our theme this year being Adventures in Motherhood, it was awesome to see how adventurous many of our moms already are - speaking a second language, swimming with dolphins, bungee jumping, being on TV! I think someone said they had been skydiving - and kudos to those moms who can still do the splits - impressive! The next meeting is October 1st, and Tami Hair will be speaking on mothering. We hope you all enjoyed the first meeting as well.

I know how much everyone loves t0 have this done, (sorry!) but it will be great to have for our photo directory- you can put a name with a face, see if someone lives close to you, if they have kids the same age as yours! We will make this as painless as possible. The photos we did take - you all look like Models! And ladies... don't forget we've got photoshop!! :)
